Rejected
I want to share how what may seem small to you, can be huge for the person on the other end. Feelings of being rejected.
Ten days ago we received a letter that left us feeling rejected, disappointed, frustrated, even overwhelming anger. Tuesday a friend heard our hearts and stopped what she was doing to make a phone call. That call led us to the experts we’ve been desperately seeking and already they’ve taken HUGE steps that get the ball rolling. In the end things may not turn out in our favor, but at least we’re doing everything we could.
Another friend today unexpectedly blessed us with some money that will help with gas & some groceries. Other friends prayed over our situation. Two encouraged me to try sell some of my crafts online, with proceeds going towards our Financial Peace goals. A family is blessing us with a chair to sell at our garage sale, while another has already bought our dresser. We’re truly shocked by the orders that have been already been placed for Christmas decorations. My sweet husband works hard not to just pay the bills, but also never-ending doctors, medications and medical supplies.
Meanwhile I still struggle daily with my inability to work. The love and encouragement shown to us this week has been incredible. I feel a new sense of accomplishment and joy all because some folks chose to step out and feed into our lives.
